Profile: Angie Wiwczor

Angie is a nurse practitioner at NEO Kids. She was born and raised in Greater Sudbury and completed her nursing degree at Laurentian University. Angie always loved working with children and wanted the opportunity to teach others and help people. At NEO Kids, Angie is the lead of both the asthma program and the BALANCE program and also works with children with behavioural needs.

“Children are unique. When you treat the child, you’re also helping treat the family. Children are very resilient, they can rebound fast. I like being able to be a part of that journey, however short or long it may be.”

An affiliate professor at Northern Ontario School of Medicine, Angie loves to travel and explore the city and spend time outdoors on the many lakes and trails in Greater Sudbury.
