Profile: Dr. Melanie Breau

Meet Dr. Breau. Originally from New Brunswick, Dr. Breau has been a general pediatrician at NEO Kids since 2015. She completed a pediatric residency at Northern Ontario School of Medicine where she fell in love with Greater Sudbury for its ‘big town’ feel in a smaller community. Working in an atmosphere that changes day-to-day, Dr. Breau loves seeing patients progress.

“It’s really interesting to see how a family copes when a child is sick, and how our team here will work to find a solution, whatever that may be. It’s been wonderful to be a part of such a dynamic group that supports its patients in every stage of that journey.”

Raising twin girls, Dr. Breau loves being able to see her girls grow up with the support that Greater Sudbury and NEO Kids provides.
